  Comment: Sellnick (1949:132) originally gave the specific epithet as ölandicus (in the Swedish journal Entomologisk Tidskrift, in an article written in Swedish), which takes its name from the Swedish island of Öland where it was found. This is clearly a Swedish word, so the original ö must be corrected to the plain o, rather than to oe (which would be correct if the word was German, see 1999 ICZN Art. 32.5.2.1)
