 Comments

Comment: Canceraspis Hempel 1934, described in its own subfamily (Canceraspidinae Hempel 1934), has been treated as a junior synonym of Limacoccus Bondar 1929 since 1938. Per the Principle of Coordination (see ICZN Art. 36), Canceraspidinae Hempel 1934 is the senior available family-group name based on an included genus, and should have priority over Beesoniidae Ferris, 1950, although this doesn't appear to have been noticed yet in the literature
