  Comment: Fraser (1940) indicates that Sertularia gracilis was made available by Hincks (1861), who cited Hassal's prior use of the name as being a manuscript. Cairns et al. (2002) attribute the name to Hassal (1848) and consider it a synonym of Tridentata distans. Further research may be required to find out who actually made the name available under the ICZN
