 Comments

Comment: Comments: Reviewed extensively by Wilson (2002), with systematics revised by Grubb and Groves (2002). Jansen van Vuuren and Robinson (2001) studied phylogeny, using evidence from mtDNA. Sylvicaprina as Sylvicaprinae has only been used since 1899 as junior to Cephalophinae so should not replace it (Article 35.5, International Code of Zoological Nomenclature; International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature, 1999)
