  Comment: Recent phylogenetic work has revealed that some groups traditionally treated as separate phyla actually belong within the annelids (such as the Sipuncula and Echiura). Additionally, 'the overall classification within Annelida is also currently undergoing significant revisions and has yet to stablize' (Rouse in Brusca et al., 2016:532). Until a comprehensive enough, traditionally-ranked classification uniting these groups is available, ITIS will follow e.g., Ruggiero et al. (2015) for these groups
