  Comment: The family name Maccabeidae Por and Bromley (June 1974 issue) was published after the Slavini-Plawen (March 1974 issue, article accepted 6 April, issue rec'd at Smithsonian libraries by 29 April) paper in which the family Chaetostephanidae was named, giving Chaetostephanidae priority at the family-group ranks. At the genus and species levels, Por published Maccabeus tentaculatus 'n. gen., n. sp.' in July 1973, and while Salvini-Plawen first mentions Chaetostephanus praeposteriens gen. et sp. nov. in May 1973, they were without descriptions (nomina nuda), and those names were not published with a description until 1974, so Por's Maccabeus tentaculatus (gen. and sp.) both have priority
