  Comment: '[...] the species belonging to the expedita-ornata-rubra group had been exhibited several times, but the descriptions and illustrations are so deficient that it seems impossible to decide which species are meant. Such names are Vortex coronarius O. Schmit., V. graffi Hallez, V. erivanicus Plotn., V. caucasicus Plotn. and V. rhombiger PLotn. In order to avoid confusion, it is necessary to drop all these names and stick to the species that have been described so well that they can be recognized with certainty.'
