  Comment: Amphiprora Ehrenberg was abandoned in favour of Entomoneis by Reimer (in Patrick and Reimer 1975), as stated in Round et al. (1990). Algaebase, however, treated it as distinct genus name. Amphiprora is kept in this version, but further review is needed
