 Comments

Comment: Veron, Patou and Jennings (2015) tentatively suggest that Arctogalidia trivirgata "comprises two divergent groups, one (Clade 1) corresponding to A. trivirgata (northeast India, southern China, mainland southeast Asia, Sumatra and nearby islands, and Java), and another (Clade 2) to A. stigmatica (Borneo). However, more data are needed before a taxonomic revision can be made. Our findings also suggest that Clade 1 might be separated into three groups, corresponding to the subspecies A. t. leucotis (north of the Isthmus of Kra), A. t. trivirgata (Peninsular Malaysia, Sumatra and nearby islands), and A. t. trilineata (West Java)"
